Who I am
My name is Michael Cook, I am the owner of Redemption Remodeling. I have been in the construction industry for 45 years. I started out as a framer then went into foundation work and then finished carpentry. I received my General Contractors license in 1984 and have been contracting ever since. I still do framing, foundation work and finish carpentry. Knowing the structural components of a project and how each of the trades tie into that has been extremely helpful working as a contractor. I have completed large (30,000 sq ft) renovations to small bathroom remodels and all types of residential projects in-between.
My personal commitment:
Beyond the blueprints and building codes, I truly care about the families I work with.
I understand that your home is a sanctuary, and inviting a contractor into that space requires immense trust. I don't take that responsibility lightly. For me, success isn't only about a functional or aesthetically pleasing result; it’s developing a lasting relationship and ensuring you feel heard and respected throughout the entire process. I treat every project with the same integrity and meticulous care I would give to my own home and family.
I love the outdoors, which often involves camping with my family, off roading in our side-by-side UTV and fishing. I especially enjoy fly fishing in the mountains that surround us. I enjoy serving the Lord whether it is with our local church or our community. I live on a small ranch with my wife and together we raise steers, chickens, sheep, goats and pigs, with the help of our dog, Rocky.
